hope plenty of us are receiving these mails...i have also received these mails from punjab national bank..

please note that don't click the links or visit the sites mentioned on these mails. and in any case don't share your personal settings (e.g. account number, username , password, credit card no or telephone nos...etc )..They can use these information to hack your account and then use it for their requirements....

and thus everyone of us are well aware of the consequences of our accounts had been hacked.

so please avoid these mails or plz report to your bank about these spam mails..

One thing can also be done. Please use well and authentic clients like Google's Gmail... its good tool. try to import other account's mail to this so that most of these spam mails can get filtered by itself only.

  1. Hi Jayanti.

Thanks for spreading the word on such misleading sites. ICICI Bank has the best in class security systems in place for online banking. As a responsible bank, we repeatedly advice our customers not to share confidential details and be careful of e-mails that seek such information. On an ongoing basis, we generate awareness amidst our customers through our communication on the website, advertisements, mailers and statements.

    Regards,
    ICICI Bank Customer Service Team.

  4. Today I received the same mail which looks to be from ICICI Bank, and I reported this to the Bank authorities. I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY BANKS DO NOT TAKE ANY ACTION AGAINST THESE PEOPLE AND ONLY ADVISE THEIR CUSTOMERS TO BE CAREFUL.
